Hi! I’m Smilie, myself and my partner Shai, together run an Photography & Cinematography establishment like no other.. Customer focused with a brand that represents us to the T. The name “Smilin Occasionz” says it all! You wonder why the name? Well, what do people do at a special occasion, when sharing a special day together that extra special person? You ‘Smile’ right? and of course, its an occasion!
Whatever your memorable occasion; be it a Wedding, Reception, Pre event, Graduation, Birthday, or any kind of event, we specialise in just about every type of photography and cinematography. Our professional and experienced team work with you in creating memories that will last you a lifetime!
We have been established for over 12 years. Initially, Smilin Occasionz operated as an Event Management Company. This involved us liaising with Clients from all different backgrounds, in bringing all their plans together, right down to event co-ordination on the day.
We are very diverse within the industry, as one of those companies who specialise not just in the traditional Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and other ethnic wedding affairs involving up to 3000 guests, but also small, intimate, country Church Weddings with as few as 20 guests.

Smilin’ Occasionz have the ability to create, capture and remember those precious moments in our creativity driven style. This could be in the form of a slideshow or a custom designed Storybook.
We have the experience and expertise in all areas, which gives us the upper hand with assisting in managing your events, making sure that we cover the required objectives and tasks required. Through liaising with yourself, your suppliers and the venue to get the most out of your day.
Ensuring for instance, that your cake, which you may have spent anything between £200 to £5000, is captured in the correct ambience bringing to reality, the magazine effect or visual that you envisioned. Your food dishes are presented as your caterer promised it and we would take pics like its being judged by the professionals. Working with the venue, to enable us to get your creative shots perhaps on different recommended hot spots around the grounds, that may possibly be secluded and away from the crowd. Those special speeches, ceremonies, ring exchange etc. captured by our team from creative angles, whether it be by our Professional Photography, or Cinematography team.
